When we say we're family-friendly, we really do mean it. That’s why offering FREE group childcare for two to 12-year-old guests has been a top priority for us for as long as we can remember. Run around inside the castle, make new friends over the arts and crafts table or go head-to-head over the X-box.
What to Expect
BIG Country is available to our guests between 2-12 years old.
If you've booked directly with us at Crieff Hydro Hotel or self-catering for one-night or more, you can get two hours of FREE daytime childcare for every night you've booked. Your free session can be booked either on the day of arrival or day of departure, subject to availability.
If you're staying at Murraypark Hotel or if you've booked through a third party (for example, booking.com) then its £15.00 for a two-hour session.
- Each session is two-hours.
- We get pretty busy so it's best to book in advance.
- Got kids of different ages? For safety, all children must be booked into the correct age group as we have team member to child ratios to meet set out by the Childcare Commission (Care Inspectorate). The sessions however are free play, meaning the children are not separated into groups during the sessions by age, so siblings of different ages can play together.
- Have peace of mind - all of our team are fully trained and registered with relevant governing bodies and all undergo Disclosure Scotland checks.

BIG Country sessions are two hours:
- 9:30am – 11:30am
- 12:30pm – 2:30pm
- 3:00pm – 5:00pm
Bridge sessions will no longer be available.
