The Knock’s easy to find and it’s easy to climb. Standing proudly above our Cozy Cabins – it’s a firm favourite amongst our guests (and it’s also our Stephen’s favourite place in the world. Yes, the world!) When you get to the top, it’s easy to see why…
Get on your bike, strap on your walking boots or saddle up a trusty steed – it doesn’t matter how you get up, just go, go, go.
Going up on foot? Signposts lead you all the way up from Crieff High Street and the wooded hill welcomes you with a short steep hike or gentler ascent. So whether you’re a fair weather dawdler or a Munro bagger, anyone can take a ramble up The Knock.
Make sure you follow the different paths around The Knock to really view Crieff in all its glory.
If you prefer exploring hills on two wheels, then head to Action Glen and you’ll soon be zooming about on a quad bike Or you can kick up sick roost as you shred our gnarly downhill course… that’s right, we googled “mountain biking terms” and we’re not afraid to admit it.
In a nutshell, (for those of you who don’t know the lingo) we’ve got three mountain biking tracks to explore. Our gardening team, under the supervision of Tom our resident biking expert, have created different routes to suit different capabilities. Pretty rad, eh?
A visit to Crieff just isn’t complete without a trip up The Knock. Whether you tackle it on foot, on bike or horseback – you can leave saying you’ve seen Crieff from its best viewpoint.
